4. Are there any current trends that you just can't get your head around?
A few weeks ago, i was just looking at blogs after blogs and i saw one post and it said that Some Neurologist say that Algae, could be ideal for skin and hair products because of there protective cells, and that could protect our face and hair from the sun or something, i was like say waaaa? there is no way, someone is touching ma face or hair with algae, i was going kunfu at my computer.
5. What is your favourite skin care product?
now this is a bit boring and nothing too fancy but it always has been and always will be Vaseline, i just can't live without it, because of my incredibly dry lips, vaseline is my go to product, it is one of the very few lip products or treatments that doesn't dry out my lips any further. and i always wear it underneath lipsticks.

6. If you could adapt a style from any TV show or film, which would you choose?
If i could i will take Anne Hathaway's characters style, Andrea Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada, ever since i was younger i've always been so intrigued by that fashion sense.

Haul.... XOX

Hey guys, so todays blog is going to be haul,
don't worry, i also jumped out of my chair ;)
jokes....
so i went shopping today, and i bought a few products that i'd love to share with you guys, because, well there's no one else to share it with.

The first place I went to was DUSK, a lot of you might know what that is, but for the ones that doesn't it's basically a shop which sells all types of candles; scented ones, none scented ones, electric ones, you name it, they also they sell candleholders. They were having a sale today, and well, i happened to be in there, i didn't spend loads of money in there i only spent 34 odd dollars in there but it was well spent.

in the left corner, the purple and redish 'thing' are both candle holders, originally priced at $20 each but i got them for $10 each, underneath that "the white box" inside of it is a candle holder with reindeers that goes around, ( $5 ) i'm not showing it because i want to do a blog about it when it gets towards christmas,  so much later on in the year and the last items i bought in DUSK were these three super sparkly and glittery candles (green, red and silver) originally priced at $10 each all three was reduced at $3 BARGAIN. getting ready for christmas, what can i say?

My second purchase were a pack of three containers, in the colours blue, green and pink, now i really needed something easy, fast and inexpensive to place my lip-glosses, hair-ties and bobby pins in. these circled plastic containers were the perfect shape for them and were only $5 in k-mart. WIN.

my third purchase were these lace ribbon, i found them in the back to school section, and were only $4 and right next to that is a sheet of paper which has stick on stickers that says 'Happy Birthday"  "Congratulations" "Thank you" etc. these caught my eyes and i instantly had to buy them, not only because of there low price of $2 but because this would also stop me from having to write on cards. why write when you can just stick stickers? doar.

more on the beauty side of things, i bought lipsticks !!!!!! now i've heard about how creamy the texture of these lipsticks are and they did not disappoint, although they have great texture and great colour they don't last a long time, about 2-3 hours, but i'm constantly eating and drinking so that might have had something to do with it. I know BYS is a cheap make-up brand, but i really love there bronzers and i taught i'd give the lipsticks a go, I picked up four Lipsticks, in the shades (left to right) Baby Doll, Red Hot, Perfect Nude and Flirty Fuchsia. i've only tried, Red Hot, and I'm loving it, can't wait to try the next lot.

I've swatted them here so you can have a better look at the colour
(left to right) Baby Doll, Perfect Nude, Red Hot, Flirty Fuchia

so about now, you're probably looking at the picture thinking, okay Sophia, Please do explain.
i saw a video well quite a few videos actually of people making lipsticks out of crayons, and when i saw crayons i thought i'd be a good idea to give it a go. i'll let you know how that goes.

now there really isn't any explanation for the next purchase, i just can't go to the shops without buying chocolate

the next thing is super cute, i have no explanation for this.
I walked into the shops and the owl just looked at me and said, "sophia, sophia, please buy me" i was like "i'll be your hero Mr Owl " then it happened to be in my shopping basket. sorry?

Those were the things that i wanted to share with you, i also got some little things like bobby pin sets, hair lackey sets and wot not. damn that spelling.
but anyways guys, i promise i'll upload more often, in the future, i've got the whole year planned out how super exciting, i'm going to be uploading about twice a month, that is my limit.
xoxo mwah.

Exciting Diaries~ 2014 edition.

So ever since  my 12th new year , my parents always bought my self and my siblings a diary for the new year,
usually they're boring diaries with just the dates and the months for that year.
but for 2014, my parents got a different type of diary for me, this diary seems exceptionally interesting, every week, there's an inspirational quote on the top of the page, cool huh?
yeah i agree, but not only that, every month it gives you something to look help the inner you and give you a bigger self confidence boost:

i'll put a link at the very end where you can get your own copy

the first page you turned too it has a huge paragraph, entitled

WELCOME TO 2014

i'll give you a little summary as to what that said:

This year the theme is your most exciting challenge ever: Amaze Yourself
No that doesn't mean jumping through hoops to be somebody you're not, just the opposite, it's all about being who you truly are. You to the nth degree, in other words your only instruction is to let yourself be surprised. discover depths you've never plumbed, abilities you've never exercised, interests you've never explored, aspects of yourself you never even knew you had. from food to friendship, go towards the new and unexpected. stretch yourself.

i read that section and couldn't give it up  and read the whole page filled with interesting and meaningful words, when i turned to the page straight after that it had another page and this one was entitled  'January '

"Be Experimental"
Forget the tried and tested- you already have that down pat, Choose the less-travelled road. Try a new way of doing things, and if it flops, try another way. Success is built on trial and error. The biggest experiment is to be yourself, not anyone else's idea of you or your own limited self-view. Decide to become the person you've dreamed of being: you'll  discover that you already are!

"set your intention"
I'm committed to surpassing self-imposed limits and realising my full potential. i continually explore new ways of being in the world.

i find this diary or book, what ever you would like to call it incredibly helpful, especially if you have self esteem issues, or you're having struggle to find the inner you. just reading those few pages i can already see a vass improvement in my self esteem issues, of course i'm going to be having ups and downs throughout the year, but i feel like this book is going to have a very big impact in getting me back on my feet and looking forward to a new day no matter how bad the previous one was.
if you can i really suggest getting your hands on this book. it will help so much. even if you don't really have self esteem issues, just a boost of confidence never hurt anyone.

New Years Celebration?

On New Years Day, the celebrations begin. Normally, New Years Day is full of drinking and eating traditional foods, So if you're anything like me, you are probably sitting in bed right now, on Youtube, in your pj's, a big messy bun on your head and a heap load of chocolate by your side.
HAPPY NEW YEARS?

Yes, happy New Years,
i know that many of us, if we don't have any big plans for new years we will most likely stay in bed the whole day, and the only time we would get out of bed would be for a shower, toilet break and food break. because us teenagers, are just to lazy to plan anything anyways.
That's how my New Years 2014 was spent.

And you shouldn't be ashamed. well not completely, apart from the heap load of calories you're putting on, then no.

New Years day is about starting in the new year with the your best foot forward, and a positive attitude for the upcoming months. although we sit in bed enjoying chocolate, we still have a great attitude about this year, (well most of us)

My New Years was spent, having a marathon of Zoella on youtube ( http://www.zoella.co.uk/ ) check out her blog, she's great.
i had a chat with chummy (my bestfriend)
before and found out that's what her new years was like aswell,
so the point of this blog isn't to only wish you Happy New Year, but also to tell you, if you sit in bed with chocolate, watching youtubers have a good life, in your pj's all day. it's okay. we wont judge you
;)
hahha, but have a great new years, and don't dive into anything without thinking through first, be sure to make this year your best one so far.

(This is my awesomely pose of me holding a bunch of chocolate and lollies, showing how happy i am to be in pj's the whole new years day, welldone to you Soph. )

With the new year on our horizon, we pause to look back, cherishing what was good, and then pause to look forward, cheerleading what we hope will be great.
When flipping my calendar, I focus most on gratefulness. I am thankful for experiences that fill my heart and thrill my mind and opportunities to gracefully touch others’ lives
